Batteries are Bone Buggy parts that determine the base cleaning time limit in Fossil Fighters: Frontier. The limit ranges from 60 to 95 seconds depending on which battery is equipped; higher-grade batteries give the player more time but are significantly heavier than less powerful ones. Time Extenders can be used during excavation to extend cleaning time past a battery's limit, which does not affect the maximum possible amount of time remaining (99 seconds at any given point).
Standard batteries can be purchased at the Garage's Mod Shop. Dynamo batteries, which are stronger but slightly heavier than the standard variety, can be won from the Seven Scramble's Mantell Cup tournaments.
